Slugging IV Sloan
League of Champions' Slugging IV Sloan fundraiser returns to Baldwin Harbor Town Park on Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, June 26, 2016.
Slugging IV Sloan is a slow-pitch baseball tournament to benefit Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. 100 percent of proceeds benefit the hospital.
- Teams are seeded based on total dollars raised. The top four seeds will automatically be entered into Sunday's main tournament, while the bottom eight will compete in a round robin tournament on Saturday. The four best teams from Saturday will advance to a single-elimination tournament on Sunday, June 26.
- Round robin games will be six innings each.
- The tournament is physically challenging, and teams need a minimum of 10 participants in order to provide ample rest for those involved.
